Kitkat: This is Android 4.4 version unveiled on September 3, 2013 which is designed to improve performance on low-end device.
New Features:
1.Better memory management. Kitkat is designed to run on device as 512MB of RAW.
2.Improved “Google Now”. You can activate “Google Now” by saying “OK Google”.
3.Smarter Caller ID. Provides a search filed to find out target contacts.
4.Immersive Mode. Status bar and navigation buttons can be concealed if you want.
5.Merging with Cloud Storage. Save data directly to Cloud without keeping data on your device first.
Lollipop: This is Android 5.0 version which suppose to stir up a revolution. It’s not as good as we thought, but still has advantage.
New features:
1.Better WiFi and Bluetooth controls. Switch Wifi or blue tooth at drop-down panel, no need to finish it at “settings”.
2.Better sound profiles. When it comes to alarm, you can set your phone in silent until the next alarm.
3.Better device guarding. A thief can not factory reset device without password that used previously.
4.Notifications can be flicked away, which makes notification much easier to manage.
Marshmallow: This is the newest version of android OS that reviled in October 2015, which designed to provide better experience for users.
New Features:
1. Android pay. Like apple pay, it permits customer to keep credit and debt card information to pay for goods, service.
2. Save the battery. Doze makes your phone close to airplane mode when you are not using it to earn extra battery life.
3. Adoptive storage. Treat memory card like part of phone’s memory, hence you can apply memory card space with no fuss.
4. Choose text more precisely.
